Paradoxia - Game design Project 2020

University Project
About this project, we worked in a group and we chose the Retro Gaming theme.

We were going to create a single-player platformer game. The main character is Professor Hans Meyer, who is lost his family and his arms to the monsters' invasion. He built a time machine to root out the monsters from time and the place they came from. He also made a heavy plasma gun and a pair of the android arm. We called the game "Paradoxia.

My level was Level 4, which had a Samurai theme. The idea behind it is to create a small village that is destroyed by Demons, and When the player travels to this level, he starts from the top of the scene. The player needs to jump from the top of the roofs and defeat enemies to reach the platforms at the bottom, pass the level, and the exit, which is guarded by the level's boss. It was basically inspired by Japanese ninja and samurai games that the player jumps and fights on the roofs.

I chose to make a patrolling Melee attack for my enemy and drew a YokaiJapanese demon who wears traditional Japanese clothes with red hair and has a samurai mask on his face. Yōkaiis a class of supernatural monsters, spirits, and demons from Japanese culture.
